Universe and Creation Committee

The Universe and Creation Committee was established in 1995 following the Chapter approval of our Vision Statement: "We will commit ourselves to deepen our studying, living and teaching the mysteries of the universe and the sacredness of all creation. We resist the ongoing devastation of our planet by a contemplative scrutiny of our use/abuse of Earth’s gifts."
 

The Committee works to raise consciousness about the urgency of issues relating to the planet and promote a deepening understanding of the sacredness of all creation. In particular, the Committee provides materials to our study group and our mission designees and alerts the Congregation to major issues affecting the planet.
