Several Dominican sisters and associates attended a peaceful and powerful march on June 2nd from Grover Cleveland Park in Caldwell to a vigil in George Floyd’s name at Crane Park in West Caldwell. The inspiring speakers challenged all present to educate themselves as to what both overt and subtle racism looks like, even in ourselves. Everyone present took a knee when the names of black and brown men and women who have died by police hands or while in custody of police were read.
