Lena Picillo, OP

Lena Picillo, OP has been a Caldwell Dominican for over forty years. Many of her years were spent in elementary schools; most of her ministry has been as Principal of several Dominican schools. Sister Lena has a commitment to social justice issues; her ministry has involved working closely with her Caldwell Dominican Sisters serving those who have been abused, trafficked, and more recently, refugees seeking freedom. Sister Lena is Chaplain for the Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter. Presently, she is serving on the Leadership Team of the Caldwell Dominican Sisters.
