After 34 years as principal of St. John’s School in Clark, Sister Donna Marie O’Brien has announced her retirement. She was honored recently at a special liturgy marking the occasion and expressing the gratitude of parishioners, students and parents for her leadership during more than three decades of commitment. Most Reverend Archbishop Bernard Hebda was the main celebrant.
During Sister Donna Marie’s tenure St. John’s was designated as a national Blue Ribbon School. Among other positive changes during Sister’s tenure mentioned in her citation were the addition of preschool programs, before and after care programs, continually upgrading technology, and above all, “keeping the curriculum Christ-centered.”
Congratulation, Sister Donna Marie. Ad multos annos!
