We, Sisters of Saint Dominic of Caldwell, are a community of vowed women religious responding to God’s call,
united in our quest for the unfolding revelation of God. We preach the Word of God through our lives of
contemplative prayer, study and ministry in response to the needs of our time.
For more than 800 years, the Dominican Order has ministered at the heart of higher education and, more recently, in the broader arenas of formal education. Today, our congregation's sponsored ministries carry our legacy while our commitments to social and environmental justice propel us forward.
Discover Our commitments
We invite you to explore the various ways to live the Dominican charism: as a vowed member, an associate, or through various programs like Dominican Young Adults or our former member group.
Dominican Spirit and Life Expressions
You can journey with us by attending programs at the Lumen Center to deepen your relationship with God through prayer, study, and action grounded in the contemplation of God, justice, and the sacredness of the Earth. Our schedule includes day and evening programs, days of retreat, scripture study, and dialogue about using the Earth's resources responsibly.
